Anil Malhotra is Chief Executive Officer of Siti Networks Limited

Siti Networks Limited, an Essel Group company, has appointed Anil Malhotra as Chief Executive Officer.  Malhotra will spearhead the business after the successful implementation of the New Tariff Order, in line with the company’s vision of making its offerings robust through smarter business models and innovative ways to connect with customers through varied products and services.

Malhotra is a veteran with over 34 years of rich experience across the cable television industry with deep expertise across various facets of media distribution, viz. technology, content, regulatory compliances and sales operations. He has a proven track record of amalgamating progressive leadership and entrepreneurial spirit throughout his career. Malhotra played a critical role in the successful implementation of New Tariff Order framework at Siti Networks and was instrumental in the transformation of Siti from an analogue player to a digital Multiple System Operator (MSO).

Malhotra joined Siti Networks as Chief Operating Officer (COO) in 2011 and since then he has helmed various leadership roles across Essel Group. Prior to Siti Networks, Malhotra had various successful entrepreneurial and intrapreneurial stints, including serving as President (North India) for InCablenet, a distribution vertical of Hinduja Group. He realised the potential of cable TV and distribution, long before the emergence of MSOs, and ventured into hardware manufacturing for the industry and later set up multiple master control rooms and head ends.

Malhotra has been an active member of various government and industry bodies, including MIB task forces for implementation of DAS regulations, New Tariff Order, etc., and the All India Digital Cable Federation. Malhotra has been conferred with several acclaims for his contribution to the industry. Malhotra holds a Master’s Degree in Physics from Dehradun.
