RK Arora has returned to iTV Network as Director, Strategy and Planning. In his new role at iTV Network, he will focus on creating streamlined operating models between cross-functional teams, orchestrating a rhythm of the business system of focus and accountability, and driving efficiencies in go-to-market activities by streamlining processes and automating work.
He will report to the network's board.
In his previous stint with the network, Arora was Group CEO until the end of 2014.
After iTV Network, Arora had joined Zee Media as CEO and then acquired a significant stake in JK Media Network owned by Subash Chowdhary and Tapinder Kumar.
Prior to joining iTV Network in 2012 as CEO Broadcast, he was CEO with Bag Network (News 24, E24 and Darshan 24). He was also associated with Independent News Service (India TV) since its inception.
On his second stint with iTV Network, Arora said, “It is a nice moment to come back to iTV network. Additionally, iTV Network CEO Varun Kohli has been given additional responsibility for print companies. In addition to his current role as head of India News, NewsX, and digital assets of iTV Network, Kohli will be handling The Sunday Guardian and Aaj Samaj.
With a professional experience spanning over 25 years, Kohli is a seasoned sales specialist and is credited with creating sustainable business development and management strategies that have increased top and bottom lines and enhanced efficiency in organisations.
Rakesh Gopal, National Sales Head, Regional Channels, will be supporting Kohli in the sales function of the print companies for the efficient growth of the network.

Prior to joining iTV network, Kohli was the Head of Sales for IBN7. His distinguished career includes leadership stints at Amar Ujala, Bennett, Coleman & Company Ltd., Deccan Chronicle, Dainik Bhaskar, Hindustan times and Indian express.
