Former Chief Marketing Officer at Marico, Anuradha Aggarwal, has joined Star India as EVP - Infotainment, English and Kids channels, highly placed sources in the industry confirmed the news to BestMediaInfo.com.
This would be Aggarwal’s first stint in the broadcast industry. She comes with almost two decades of experience in marketing in the FMCG category.
She was with Marico for 3.5 years and resigned from the post on October 2018. Before that, she has worked with Mondelez for 1.8 years as Marketing Director, Asia Pacific, for the biscuits category. Previously, she also worked with Vodafone India as Senior Vice-President, Brand Communications, Insights and online.
Aggarwal started her career at HUL and had a good long stint of 12 years at the company. She joined HUL as Area Sales Manager and rose to the position of Category Marketing Manager for Hair Care.
She holds a PGDBM degree in Marketing Management from IIM Bangalore. Aggarwal also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics Honours from Lady Shri Ram College of Commerce (Delhi University).
