Star India's Gayatri Yadav has resigned from her position as President, Consumer Strategy and Innovations.

Confirming the move, sources at Star India told BestMediaInfo.com that Yadav is serving her notice period of three months.

In her current role, Yadav was responsible for the future growth of the network on the basis of marketing strategy, data and analytics.

She joined Star Network in 2011 as Executive Vice-President, Marketing and Communications.

Yadav has 27 years of experience in marketing across consumer products and media. She started her career with Procter and Gamble in 1992 in brand management and worked across categories.

Four years later, she moved to General Mills and was responsible for the launch of Pillsbury and building strong brands across categories. Yadav spent more than 14 years at General Mills.
