Multiplex Cinepolis has undertaken an innovative marketing and promotional initiative prior to the release of Marvel’s biggest franchise, ‘Avengers Endgame.’
To attract patrons, Cinepolis is hosting India’s first movie marathon screening of popular Marvel films in Delhi, Bhubaneshwar, Pune and Mumbai on April 25, from 8 am.
The much-awaited ‘Avengers Endgame’ is recognised as the finale of the Marvel film series that began in 2008 with Iron Man. The innovative marketing initiative will screen nine select movies that are essential to understand the basic stakes and character arcs.
The marathon will feature movies such as The Avengers, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Captain America: Civil War, Thor: Ragnarok, Black Panther, Avengers: Infinity War, Ant-man and the Wasp and Captain Marvel.
The 20-hour movie marathon will conclude with the release of ‘Avengers Endgame’ on April 26, 2019.
Under this promotional initiative, loyalists who watch the entire string of movies and successfully completed the marathon will be the first ones to watch the Avenger’s final instalment. The first 100 fans will also be awarded special Disney merchandise and certificates.

“Movie marathons are a popular concept outside India and we were excited to introduce this element to the Indian audience. Given the enormous Marvel fan base in India, we wanted to give them the opportunity to relive the saga of their favourite Marvel movie characters on the big screen,” he added.
Fans can purchase the Marvel movie marathon package for Rs 1,500, which is inclusive of a movie ticket and food voucher on BookMyShow. The marathon will be conducted following cinemas – Cinepolis Seasons Mall, Pune; Cinepolis Viviana Mall, Thane; Cinepolis VIP Viviana Mall, Thane; Cinepolis Andheri, Mumbai; Cinepolis Saket, Delhi; Cinepolis Noida and Cinepolis Esplanade, Bhubaneshwar.
