Mindshare India has topped the 2019 Media Abby awards tally with 84 points earned from a total of 14 awards, including four Gold, six Silver and four Bronze medals. Madison Media stood second with 58 points coming from 11 awards, including three Gold, one Silver and seven Bronze.
At No. 3, Initiative Media won seven medals, including two Gold, one Silver and four Bronze.
Commenting on the performance, Vaishali Verma, CEO, Initiative, said, “I am absolutely thrilled and delighted that Initiative is at number 3 at this year’s Goafest Media Abby. What makes it heartening is that all our 25 shortlists are across the width of our clients ranging from Reckitt Benckiser to Amazon to Hamdard, Infoedge, American Tourister. Dainik Jagran topped the Publisher Abby winners list with six awards including two Gold, two Silver and two Bronze awards. Bennett Coleman was at No. 2 with three Silver and two Bronze Awards.
On winning Publisher of the year title in a row for the second year, Basant Rathore, Sr VP – Strategy, Brand & Business Development, Jagran Prakashan, said, “Topping the charts at the Publishers Abby’s for a 4th consecutive year feels great . We've won the Publisher of the Year trophy for the second consecutive year in a row. This is a big win in a category that's extremely competitive.
