HSIL Limited hires Sanjay Kalra as President of its bath products business

HSIL Limited, makers of the sanitary ware brand Hindware, has named Sanjay Kalra to head its bath products business.  Kalra will be the President of the business and will directly report to Sandip Somany, Vice-Chairman and Managing Director, HSIL Ltd.

In his new role, Kalra will oversee key operations, including marketing, research and development, distribution, strategy and e-commerce for the bath products business.

Somany said, “Sanjay will be instrumental as we sharpen our integrated long-term growth strategy. He shares a long-standing relationship with HSIL and we are thrilled to have him back. He is a highly motivated, positive and goal-oriented individual who has an in-depth understanding of our industry. With his knack for identifying newer business paradigms and opportunities, I am confident he will chart higher milestones and strengthen our market leadership.” 

This is the second stint for Kalra at HSIL Ltd. In his earlier role of Senior Vice-President, Sales, he spent almost a decade at the company. Prior to joining HSIL Ltd., Kalra held leadership positions at Sintex Industries, Somany Ceramics and Pidlite Industries.

With over 33 years of experience, he has worked across functions, including marketing and sales.

Kalra holds a graduation degree in science and a post-graduate degree in sales and marketing.
