Cohn & Wolfe Six Degrees in India unveiled its new brand identity, 6° BCW, effective immediately. The rebranding follows the 2018 merger of Burson-Marsteller and Cohn & Wolfe to form BCW (Burson Cohn & Wolfe), one of the world’s largest, full-service, global communications agencies.
The new 6° BCW brand stands for expertise in delivering innovative integrated communications solutions to clients across industries through earned media, paid media, research, data analytics and insights, creative strategy and activation, digital, social and mobile innovation, and creative content.
Since its founding in 2009 by Zacharia James and Rishi Seth, who together serve as Group CEOs, the firm has built a client portfolio across industries including aviation, fast moving consumer goods, finance, hospitality, manufacturing, technology and travel. It was acquired by Cohn & Wolfe in 2015, along with its content and integrated marketing subsidiary Alphabet Consulting.
“Through our 2015 partnership with Cohn & Wolfe, we transformed our business into a full-service, integrated communications offering,” said James. “Now, as 6° BCW and with the full strength of BCW network behind us, our ability to deliver data-driven and breakthrough solutions for our clients becomes even stronger. Our team is very excited to begin this next chapter with BCW and to continue as a leader in the Indian communications industry.”
“It’s been an exciting journey since we first began as a start-up 10 years ago to where we are today, as part of one of the largest and most innovative integrated communications networks in the world,” added Seth. “We are excited for the opportunities that BCW’s expertise, scale and strong offerings will allow us to bring to our clients across India.”
Earlier in 2019, Genesis Burson-Marsteller, which joined the WPP network in 2005, rebranded to Genesis BCW.
