Zee TV shuffles programming line-up, extends four shows to six days a week

Hindi GEC Zee TV has shuffled its programming line-up by extending its 7pm-9pm slots to six days a week, from December 15.

The shows such as ‘Yeh Teri Galiyaan’, ‘Manmohini’, ‘Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega’, and ‘Tujhse Hai Rabta’ have been extended to Monday to Saturday from its previous run of Monday-Friday.

Currently, the channel airs one-hour singing reality show SaReGaMaPa on the weekend at 9pm. With this extension, the channel will now have three hours of original programming on Saturdays and an hour of original programming on Sunday.

On weekdays, Zee TV has four hours of original programming, which starts at 7pm and concludes at 11pm.

Zee TV is also planning to further strengthen its programming with the launch of a new time slot on weekdays. From January, the channel will launch new show ‘Rajaa Betaa’ on the new time slot.

The slot is not yet decided but sources said it is early prime time. Produced by Sobo Films’, Rajaa Betaa is a fictional drama revolving around the Tripathi family and their adopted son Vedant.
