Big FM has come on board as official and exclusive radio partner for Qyuki’s popular music property Jammin. The FM station will release seven original songs curated by renowned artists as a part of the show. The radio station will connect listeners with their favourite artists through studio interviews featuring music talent from both the worlds of Bollywood and digital.

Speaking about the association, a Big FM spokesperson said, “We believe that a show like Jammin which features leading Bollywood and digital music talents together, is bound to resonate with the audience. To add to that, as a radio network we have consistently associated with platform agnostic properties that give an impetus to deserving talents, while also promoting original music. With Jammin we have found the perfect synergy and look forward to amplify the property by leveraging our strong network of 59 stations.”

Ashwin Padmanabhan, Head of Trading and Partnerships, Group M India, said, “We are delighted to have Big FM as our official Radio Partner enabling us to tap into its massive reach. It is rare to have a show simulcast on television and digital platforms supported by a strong radio partner. We believe this will deliver a platform-agnostic approach to reach audiences across different demographic profiles and age groups and is an ideal combination for a show like Jammin.”

“At Motion Content Group, we create and support editorially and commercially vibrant premium content for the benefit of our content partners and advertisers and this show is a testimony to the same. We will continue to achieve this by investing into the content industry and leading the development of new models, commercial content structures and partnerships with media networks, platforms, talent, producers, and distributors,” Padmanabhan added.

Jammin spokesperson Samir Banagara, MD and Co-Founder of Qyuki, said, “The audience is in for a real treat as the show brings a first-of-its-kind format where a top Bollywood musician is paired with digital stars and emerging talent from a large talent hunt show, to bring forth a total of 7 original songs and 28 cover songs across 7 hourly episodes with music produced and arranged by Ranjit Barot. The show is headlined by AR Rahman and is his brainchild along with Sagar Gokhale and myself at Qyuki Media. Jammin will be aired not only on Sony TV but will also be simulcast on Big FM and the digital platform Viu. The show is slated to bring some of the biggest names in Bollywood such as Salim-Sulaiman, Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, Clinton Cerejo, Shaan, Jatin Pandit and Ranjit Barot paired with top digital stars like Darshan Raval, Ritu Agarwal, Shraddha Sharma, Gajendra Verma, Jeffrey Iqbal, Jonita Gandhi and more, making it a one-of-a-kind experience for the audience. The property will culminate with an on-ground live concert in Mumbai.”
