Shalimar Paints appoints Minal Srivastava as VP, Marketing

Shalimar Paints has appointed Minal Srivastava as Vice-President, Marketing. She will be responsible for accelerating growth and enhancing brand equity for the first paint company in India and Southeast Asia.

Srivastava has over 15 years of cross-functional business experience. Over the course of her career, Srivastava has been associated with several industry-leading companies in senior roles, leading and working with diverse, multicultural global teams.

Prior to joining Shalimar Paints, she was the Lead, Retail Expansion, at Apple, spearheading the expansion for the first-ever Apple-led retail format in India and scaling it. She was also associated with Kohler as its Deputy General Manager, Marketing and was responsible for the development of the company’s national marketing programmes and strategic planning. In the past, she has also worked with Usha, Fulcrum, and Zenith Optimedia.

A change leader who has played important roles in the turnaround of product portfolios, brands and businesses as well as enhancing P&L as part of leadership teams in India, Asia Pacific, and Sub-Saharan Africa, Srivastava holds extensive expertise in a wide range of marketing skills. These include holistic brand design, brand equity, integrated communication development, brand activation, P&L management, digital, media deployment, sales and customer management, retail design and expansion, and trade marketing. An alumnus of IIM, Ahmedabad and MICA, Srivastava has also mentored multiple start-ups and turned around their businesses towards better revenues and growth.
