#Metoo: Jaya Prasad of Serviceplan India indirectly accuses Prathap Suthan and two others of sexual harassment

Jaya Prasad, General Manager at Serviceplan India, is another advertising professional who has spoken in the open about her #MeToo moments that she had to face early in her career days in advertising.

She has indirectly accused Prathap Suthan, Managing Partner and Chief Creative Officer at Bang In The Middle of sexual harassment in a blog post on Medium.

She wrote on Medium about her experience of being sexually harassed by him in an interview for a job at Grey. She has also shared two other accounts of her early days in advertising and has warned youngsters to not idolise seniors at agencies who might have ill intentions in mind. Throughout her write-up, she has not named the perpetrators, but made sure that her point is made clear by hinting at names.

When BestMediaInfo contacted Suthan on the matter, he said, “I do not know this person. This incident never happened. And I never had a cabin in 1999 all the way till 2004. We had a large open office. You can ask anyone who worked with me during that time. You are also welcome to come to my current office any time, meet my team, and discuss any issue.”
