To be launched on October 1, the show will be aired from Monday to Saturday at 9 pm. A 10-foot golden flute will travel across 100 Indian cities as a part of the marketing campaign

Star Bharat brings new mythology series RadhaKrishn

Star Bharat has announced the launch of its new mythological series RadhaKrishn, which will depict the love saga of Radha and Krishna. To be launched on October 1 at 9 pm, the show is shot on five different sets — Golok, Vrindavan, Gokul, Barsana and Kans Mahal.

Looking like an expensive property, the show is being produced by Swastik Productions under the guidance of Siddharth Kumar Tewary. Music director Surya Raj Kamal’s original and soulful compositions add to the charm.

RadhaKrishn is expected to appeal to every generation of viewers through its creative story-telling, musical score, choreography and visuals. The channel released a first glimpse of the show with a captivating music video, which it is claimed has gone viral, being shared by millions across the country to wish one another for Janmashtami.

Bollywood choreographer Chinni Prakash and his wife Rekha Chinni Prakash add to the musical journey through traditional dances and RaasLeela, curated to depict the enriching experiences and emotions of love.

The show features Sumedh Mudgalkar as Krishna and Mallika Singh as Radha. Gavie Chahal plays the role of Nand, Reena Kapoor will be seen as Yashoda, and Arpit Ranka portrays the powerful and evil King Kans.

Star Bharat will showcase the representation of RadhaKrishn’s love — Krishna’s Bansuri. To celebrate RadhaKrishn’s love through this symbol, Star Bharat will initiate a Bansuri Yatra across 100+ towns and cities, through the heartland of the country, for all to see. The 10-foot, golden Bansuri, adorned with peacock feathers, will begin its journey at the birthplace of Krishna where it will be blessed by 151 pujaaris, after which it will provide an immersive consumer experience to those in its path; transporting one back to the era of RadhaKrishn. The bansuri was unveiled by the cast in Vrindavan, kick-starting the auspicious journey of RadhaKrishn.
