Patanjali has announced the launch of five new product ranges under their mission ‘Samarth Bharat, Swastha Bharat’. The brand will introduce products under categories such as dairy products, cattle feed and feed supplements, frozen vegetables, packaged drinking water and solar energy products.
Under the dairy category, the brand will launch products such as cow milk, curd, buttermilk and paneer (cottage cheese). The brand already has 56,000 retail outfits through which it will supply its milk. Of the 56,000 retail outfits, 30,000 will be in Delhi-NCR; 800 will be in Rajasthan and Pune, respectively, and 10,000 in Mumbai.
Patanjali aims to clock in Rs 500 crore by March 2019 through their milk sales and has set a target of Rs 1000 crore for March 2020. Priced at Rs 40, Patanjali’s milk will be cheaper by Rs 2 than other brands in the market.
The brand is also launching cattle feed and feed supplements under the brand name Dugdhamrit in a bid to make available urea-free cattle feed for cows.
Under the frozen foods category, the brand is bringing peas, mix vegetables, sweet corn and potato fingers (French fries). The brand claims that its frozen foods offering will be up to 50% cheaper than other established brands in the market.
Divya Jal, Patanjali’s packaged drinking water, has been in the news for some time now. Divya Jal will be made available in 250 ml, 500 ml, 1 litre, 2 litre, 5 litre and 20 litre bottles. The brand also announced that natural mineral water and herb infused water will also hit the market soon under the brand Divya Jal.
The brand will also be launching solar panels and solar street lights, solar hybrid invertors and solar water pumps.
