With an eye on millennials, Renault has launched a campaign for its Kwid car that promotes adventure-friendly features. The campaign has been conceptualised by L&K Saatchi & Saatchi and will be seen across mediums.
As a part of the campaign, a digital film starring Ranbir Kapoor, who surprises Kwid customers, has been released. For TV, a commercial that promotes the car's reverse camera feature used by a tourist to guide a lost elephant to its way home will be seen.
On the insight behind the campaign, Charles Victor, Executive Director, L&K Saatchi & Saatchi, said, “Young Indians are increasingly going on short drive holidays and self-driven/planned trips which make the SUV-inspired Renault Kwid a perfect match for this growing lifestyle. We married this ready-to-explore-the-world attitude with the new Kwid and the result was this piece of communication.”
Kartik Smetacek, Executive Creative Director, L&K Saatchi & Saatchi, said, “The task for the campaign was to add a new dimension to the Kwid brand. Inspired by its SUV design, we wanted to reposition it as an ally in adventure while showcasing its latest feature – a reverse parking camera.”
