GEC Watch: Colors leads urban; Zee Anmol leads U+R and rural

Zee Anmol and Colors maintained their respective markets in Week 30 of 2018 (July 21-27), even as BARC India updated its universe last week. Star Utsav has improved its numbers tremendously, while Sony Entertainment Television has marginally come up. It might be because of the latest season of Indian Idol that started airing on July 7 and is now airing the competition between the 14 finalists.

Other than this, the rankings of shows remained largely the same in all the markets. Colors’ Dance Deewane re-entered the U+R and urban lists. Star Plus’ Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai also came back to the urban list.
