Sakal Media Group and Dailyhunt partner for Marathi and English news content deal

Dailyhunt has announced its partnership with Sakal Media Group for a content deal.

With this partnership, Dailyhunt will now be able to offer hyperlocal Marathi and English news content on politics, entertainment, sports, health, agriculture and other topics.

Headquartered in Pune, Maharashtra, the Sakal Media Group owns and operates newspapers and magazines in Marathi as well as English that are circulated across Maharashtra and Goa.

Sakal is the flagship Marathi-language daily newspaper published from Pune while its online avatar, e-sakal, is claimed to be garnering about three million views per month. It also publishes Sakal Times, an English-language daily newspaper published from Pune; SaamTV, a Marathi news and current affairs channel; Dainik Gomantak, a Marathi daily newspaper published from Goa and Saptahik Sakal, a weekly Marathi magazine published from Goa. All these titles are among the most popular verticals of the Sakal Media Group, which will be integrated into the Dailyhunt platform.
