BBDO India appoints Atin Wahal as EVP, Client Servicing

BBDO India has appointed Atin Wahal as Executive Vice-President, Client Servicing at the Mumbai office. Wahal will report to Josy Paul, Chairman and Chief Creative Officer, until the agency finds its new CEO. Recently, BestMediaInfo.com broke the news of Ajai Jhala stepping down as CEO of BBDO India.

With over 16 years of experience, Wahal joins BBDO India from Publicis India where he was Senior Vice-President. Responsible for the overall brand health and strategies, he was heading the businesses for Skoda, Citibank, Times Network, Zee TV, SonyLiv at Publicis for four years.

Prior to joining Publicis, Wahal has had stints with Sony Entertainment, Leo Burnett and Contract Advertising, Innocean Worldwide, Bates and Lowe Lintas.
