Radio Mirchi has partnered with Hero Cycles and Philips to deliver two separate marketing solutions.
In association with Hero Cycles, in support of the UN decision, Mirchi has launched an initiative to try and raise concerns about the lack of infra in Delhi to cycle and has been promoting the cause “Road pe dikhegi tabhi to chalegi” to bring cycles back on road and the need for separate cycling lanes.
RJ Naved, RJ Sayema and RJ Abhinav made amazing videos and posted on Radio Mirchi Facebook page for this cause, making cycling cool again. Pankaj M Munjal, Chairman, Hero Cycles was present at the cyclothon in Delhi. Rohit Gothi, CEO Hero Cycles and Rohit Sharma, CMO, Hero Cycles, gave out five lakh worth of bicycles to underprivileged kids who could go to schools on cycle and state the message of “Road pe dikhegi tabhi to chalegi”.
Pritesh Chothani, VP and Cluster Head, Delhi and Rajasthan, Radio Mirchi, said, “We at Radio Mirchi completely resonate with the cause of making the city friendly for cycling. On the occasion of World Bicycle Day, this is our bit towards promoting bicycles on Delhi roads and making the city a better place to live in at large.”
In yet another association with Philips Kitchen Appliances, Mirchi launched Mirchi Philips Fresh Express to draw people’s attention towards the need for nutrition this summers, not just for themselves but also for those who are less privileged.
As a part of this initiative, Philips Fresh Express, a mobile van equipped with Philips juicers and fresh fruits, will visit places like NGOs, senior citizen homes, urban slums and government schools to provide people with a glass of healthy juice. Radio Mirchi – a partner in this activity – will drive awareness through its popular shows and will engage with listeners to come up with suggestions on the route that Philips Fresh Express would take.
This activity aims to directly reach and refresh thousands of people across five cities, including Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Kolkata, Pune and Bangalore. Philips Kitchen Appliances aims to reach millions of others through radio and spread awareness about the need for nutrition in this season.
Roy Jakobs, Global Head, Domestic Appliances, along with celebrity chef Ranveer Brar, flagged off the campaign from the Radio Mirchi office in Noida, NCR. The campaign commenced with Philips Fresh Express heading out to the first milepost of the campaign Sewa Group in Greater Noida to spread smiles of health and happiness among underprivileged children.
Ratnam, President, Personal Health, said, “With Philips Kitchen Appliances, we have always tried to create meaningful innovations. This is another one in the same league – through Philips Fresh Express, we aim to draw everyone’s attention towards the need for nutrition in this weather, not just for themselves, but also for others. This is a small step that Philips Kitchen Appliances is taking to help a few thousands, but our aim is to inspire millions others to make this a nutrition movement.”
Nitin Singh, Regional Director (N & E), Radio Mirchi, said, “Mirchi has always believed in spreading joy and happiness through engaging content and activities. The initiative completely resonates with our belief. As mercury hits its peak this month, we are proud to be a part of this noble cause of keeping everyone healthily hydrated.”
In addition to the on-ground campaign, this initiative is also being promoted on Philips’ and Radio Mirchi’s social media channels, including Facebook and Twitter.
