What entails is a series of hilarious encounters between the sasuri and bouma, as they juggle between their roles at home and at the police station while trying to solve crime.
Rahul Chakravarti, Business Head, Colors Bangla and Colors Odia, said, “At Colors Bangla, we are constantly looking for new mediums and refreshing content to engage and entertain viewers. Comedy is a generic form of family entertainment. Adding a tinge of novelty and innovation to comedy, with Satyameva Jayati, Shinghi Shasurir Baaghini Bouma we believe to strike a chord with our viewers. The bitter-sweet yet hilarious relationship between the sasuri and bouma in the show’s quirky background makes for a laughter riot for all viewers.”
Dealing with crime in their unique and hysterical methods, the duo occasionally ropes in their family to assist in the job. Godai Singha Roy (Shankar Debnath) plays Satyapriya’s husband, Raj Singha (Raja) plays Jayati’s husband, Lojjaboti Goldar (Sudipa Basu) is Godai’s mother and Binayak Bagh (Subrata Guha Roy) is Jayati’s father.
Produced by Eyewash, the show promises to become the favourite laughter destination for every Bangla household.
