Triton Communications has announced the appointment of Ashutosh Sawhney as CEO of its operations across India.
As part of his new role, Sawhney will focus on strengthening Triton’s value proposition to its clients, expand the business, collaborate with new clients and oversee the agency’s teams across offices in Mumbai, Delhi, Ahmedabad and Bangalore.
Sawhney is tasked with creating a vibrant new culture that is conducive to producing great advertising and communication.

Sawhney is a brand and communications leader, with strong bias towards ideas that create shared value. He has more than 17 years of experience with a proven track record of strategic and creative thinking on leading global brands and building new brands, galvanising great client relationships and large teams.
His previous responsibility was leading the National Brand Strategy function for Brand Capital – a part of the Bennett, Coleman & Co. Ltd. Prior to that, he was leading Publicis Communications, Delhi where he led the Nestle relationship and built the account from a small-sized network account in Delhi to the pride of place account for them in India.
Sawhney began his career on the Pepsi account at JWT, where he became one of the fastest growing account management professionals. From 2001 to 2007, he was attributed with helping create some of Pepsi Cola’s strongest and most enduring equity campaigns across its thematic and cricket platforms.
