With general elections due in the country next year, state elections have acquired an added edge. Tripura went for Assembly polls on February 18 and Nagaland and Meghalaya on February 27 and the results will be declared on March 3.
News18 India and CNN-News18 have both lined up extensive day-long programming to bring the latest updates and discuss the results of these elections – from latest trends and updates to the final seat tally. There will be coverage throughout the day on March 3 from 6.30 am on News18 India and from 8 am on CNN-News18.
The coverage on News18 India will be led by Deputy Managing Editors Kishore Ajwani and SumitAwasthi and Executive Editor Amish Devgan who will be joined by political journalists like Ram Kripal Singh and Shesh Narayan Singh among others.
On CNN-News18, Executive Editor Bhupendra Chaubey and Political Editor Marya Shakil will be joined by a panel of political and social commentators, including Vir Sanghvi, Ajoy Bose, Swapan Dasgupta, Bano Haralu, Sunir Bhowmik and Karma Paljor.
