The Internet and Mobile Association of India announced the 8th Digital Awards on January 18 at The Lalit, New Delhi. The Gold, Silver and Bronze awards for the category Agency of the Year went to Interactive Avenues, iProspect India and Utopeia Communicationz, respectively. Digital Person of the Year went to the National Payments Corporation of India and the Digital Start-up of the Year went to Unacademy, while Social Media Person of the Year went to Virendra Sehwag.
Interactive Avenues won a total of nine awards and was the Agency of the Year consecutively for the fifth time in a row. Along with the Gold in Agency of the Year, Interactive Avenues won three Gold, two Silver and three Bronze metals.
iProspect India won seven awards,including Silver in Agency of the Year, three Gold, two Silver and one Bronze metals.

Another Dentsu Aegis Network agency SVG Columbus debuted the awards with two Gold and one Silver in the categories Best Messaging Campaign(Gold), Best Email marketing Campaign (Gold), Best Integrated Marketing campaign (Silver).
