Zee Tamil has announced the launch of a its new musical chat show, ‘Sundays with Anil and Karky’. The Tamil GEC from ZEEL has got on board classical pianist Anil Srinivasan and lyricist-cum-script writer Madhan Karky, to host the show. Slated to go on air on December 31, the show will be telecast every Sunday at 12 noon.
‘Sundays with Anil and Karky’ will bring together a distinct blend of melody and conversations while featuring celebrity guests from various sectors of the entertainment industry. The celebrity guests will, during the course of the show, speak about their tryst with music and showcase their musical best by composing their own songs and performing its unplugged version. In fact, the guests will also share their favourite songs and speak about the impact of music in their lives. The highlight of ‘Sundays with Anil and Karky’, however, will be a specially designed segment where the guests will join hands with Karky to compose songs based on their real-life experiences and perform them on stage with Srinivasan supporting them on the piano.
