Vinay Kamat, former editor, Khaleej Times has joined HT Media as the new editor for Mint. The business news tabloid was earlier headed by Sukumar Ranganathan who was recently elevated to take up the role of Editor, Hindustan Times.
While at Khaleej Times, Kamat was stationed at UAE as the Editor of the English newspaper. He will be joining in the new capacity on February 16, 2018. Ranganathan announced Kamat’s appointment on Twitter.

Kamat was the Resident Editor of DNA in Bangalore. Post that, he served as the Resident Editor, Times of India in Bangalore, before joining Khaleej Times.
