Six months after its launch in India in May 2017, English news channelRepublic TVhas announced its first international launch with OSN, a pay TV provider in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).
The channel will go live on November 5 on OSN Pehla.
Republic TV, started by journalist Arnab Goswami, is the newest entrant in the Indian English news space. The channel immediately gained a 52 per cent market share in its first week of broadcast, and has since been clocking market shares of more than 40 per cent.
Republic TV has a diverse schedule of shows including The Debate telecast from 9-11pm on all days except Saturday, and a weekly interview show, Nation Wants to Know, both hosted by Editor-in-Chief Goswami, Patriot with Major Gaurav Arya where viewers are taken into the barracks of the armed forces and R Glitz, which showcases the latest news from Bollywood, among other shows.
