Kiran Khalap, MD Co-Founder, chlorophyll brand consultancy, has joined the board of Mumbai-based sport and sponsorship management company, Meraki Sport & Entertainment Pvt Ltd.
Khalap has been in the advertising and branding space since 1983 and prior to starting chlorophyll, he was CEO and Chief Creative Officer of Bates Clarion Advertising.
In 1999, Khalap co-founded India’s first end-to-end brand consultancy: chlorophyll. Over the years, chlorophyll has been instrumental in defining and differentiating as many as 200 brands across corporate and consumer verticals, including Aditya Birla Group, BSE, India Today, Infosys, J&J, Glenmark, GSK, Mahindra, Pepsico, Tata Motors, Tata Indicom, Tata Power, Padmanabh Mafatlal Group, Unilever, Zandu, etc.
Khalap was Chairman of ACSAC (Awareness and Communication Strategy Advisory Council) that created the strategy for Aadhar as well as chose its identity in 2010.
