Bauli, the Italian bakery and confectionary group, has launched its first ever TVC in India for its signature product, Bauli Moonfils.
Bauli Moonfils are ready to eat cream-filled puff-rolls made from authentic Italian recipes filled with decadent and rich filling, and baked to perfection. Unique to this product is its crescent moon shape and its trademarked softness filled with rich cream, available in four delectable flavours – choco cream, strawberry, vanilla and orange.
The TVC displays a sweet story around the crescent moon shape and the softness of Moonfils, and begins with a little boy who in his curiosity and naivety asks his mom where the moon disappears every morning. The mother tries to put off the question by quickly answering that the moon actually goes to the next-door bakery. In the bakery, the baker lovingly creates and bakes Moonfils while the boy looks upon in amazement. Finally, the baker holds up a Moonfils and, lo and behold, the boy finds the moon he was looking for!
Rohit Malkani, Executive Creative Director, Saatchi & Saatchi, said, “For the film, we played on the unique shape of Moonfils and created a story around it. It’s been a great ride and a fabulous immersion for us all! From croissant tasting and baking to sourcing the perfect looking chef for the film. Here’s hoping the film will have Bauli Moonfils flying off the shelves”!
Raghav Ravichandar, Senior Marketing Manager, Bauli India, said, “Bauli has been loved globally and we are extremely excited about entering India. Our brief to Saatchi&Saatchi was for a campaign that would generate intrigue for Bauli Moonfils, and highlight the delicious offering Bauli has. This will be a 360-degree campaign led by TV, digital, outdoor, PR, sampling/activation and retail communication targeting across consumer groups.”
Priced at Rs 15, Bauli Moonfils are all set to give everyone that amazing taste leaving them wanting for more, to be found across retail stores and large format stores in India.
Bauli was founded by Ruggero Bauli in Verona, Italy. Since 1922, Bauli has been the symbol of Italian confectionary art.
Bauli India Bakes & Sweets Pvt. Ltd. is a part of Bauli S.p.A, an Italian confectionary and bakery operates in holiday cakes, croissants, minicakes and biscuits. In 2009, Bauli entered West Bengal. It started with the production of ready-to-eat, cream filled puff rolls. After receiving overwhelming response from East market, Bauli is now all set to enter rest of India with the entire range of soft fine puff rolls ‘Bauli Moonfils’.
