Adfest invites speaker submissions for 2018 edition

Adfest 2018 has started accepting submissions for Adfest 2018, which will held from March 21-24, 2018, at the Peach Royal Cliff Resort, Pattaya, Thailand with the theme ‘Transform.’ Anyone from the creative, communications, production, or tech industries having groundbreaking insights to share can send their submission.

Those interested can give a talk, share a case study, host an interactive debate or moderate a panel discussion. Each session runs for 40 minutes and represents an opportunity to share your knowledge with the region’s top creative thinkers.

Adfest is also accepting submissions to host workshops during next year’s festival, which are hands-on learning experiences for smaller groups with high levels of interaction and engagement.

“As one of the most established advertising festivals in the Asia Pacific, Adfest is lucky to attract an eclectic mix of high-profile speakers. The theme of Adfest 2018 is ‘Transform’, so we’re looking for experts who can shed light on how brands and businesses should adapt and evolve at a time when consultancies, new media and new technologies are all having a radical impact on the business of creativity,” said Kem Suraphongchai, Festival Director, Adfest.

Adfest 2018 will consist of two streams – Craft@Adfest, which is dedicated to production, digital, and technology trends such as virtual reality, animation, music, special effects; and Creative@Adfest, which is more focused on pushing the boundaries of the creative and communication industry. It’s a good idea to specify whether the proposed content is more suitable as part of the Craft@Adfest (March 21-22) or Creative@Adfest (March 23-24) programme.

Explaining, he added, “Remember, our delegates want to hear inspiring creative, groundbreaking content, and not sales pitches. Our most popular sessions are those that dive deep into the trends shaping our industry, or that look beyond advertising and marketing to examine technology and cultural trends more broadly.”

The proposals can be submitted online at www.adfest.com/program_proposal.php by January 5, 2018. Successful applicants will be notified before the end of January 2018. For more information, visit www.adfest.com
