Sunil Buch, Chief Executive Officer, Zee Live and Zee Talent and Head, Corporate Brand and Communications, has called it quits. He was recently elevated to this position. Buch was appointed as the Chief Business Officer of the network in November 2014.
At ZEEL, Buch was initially handling Zindagi, the channel which was moved to digital, a while ago.
Buch had started his career with Colgate Palmolive as a Management Trainee to Senior Product Manager in 1988. There on, he joined Johnson & Johnson in 1994 as Head, Marketing, Oral Care and Adult Toiletries. For the next three years from 1996 to 1999, Buch spent at Leo Burnett as the Client Services Director.
Coming back to the brand side of the business, he joined Marico as Head, Marketing, Nature Care Division. He became the Executive Vice-President, Head, Retail Marketing and Broadband Group at Reliance World in 2002. After seven years, he moved to Reliance Communications as Executive Vice-President, Head 3G Retail Sales and Distribution in 2010. He stayed at the company till 2014 in various roles and then moved on to join ZEEL.
