With festive season coming up, Paytm Mall, an online marketplace app from the house of Paytm, has rolled out its first film both for television and digital media. The aim is to further strengthen the company’s position by urging technology partners for trusted shopkeepers and brand authorised sellers to open their stores online in order to reach out to larger audience.
Conceptualised by McCann Worldgroup, the TVC shows the different offerings the Paytm Mall provides. It shows how Paytm Mall catalogues the inventories of various shops online so that customers can buy stuff online. Apart from this, even in shops, customers can scan the Paytm Mall QR code and order it from the store online just in case the required product is not present at the shop.
The film ends with a tagline, “Ab shopping ke liye bhi, Paytm karo!”
Speaking about the film, Amit Sinha, COO, Paytm Mall, said, “Our country’s retail community is just as diverse as we are as a nation. Our latest brand film is a showcase of how we capture and celebrate this diversity on our platform by on-boarding trusted retailers ranging from your friendly neighbourhood shop to authorised brand stores. This will enable us to offer the most trusted online shopping experience to our customers while acting as a big pillar of support to bring the country’s retail community online.”
The spokesperson of the agency added, “Paytm revolutionised the way people in India make payments. Now, it is all set to change the way people shop with the Paytm Mall app. So, be it getting an authentic Benarasi saree from anywhere in India or buying products from your trusted store sitting at home, Paytm Mall is here to redefine the way India shops. By this communication we have tried to bring these unique offerings in a way that will resonate with the masses, using a narrative style and music that’s distinctively Paytm.”
