McCann Worldgroup India has won a Black Pencil at the recently concluded D&AD Impact awards, a first for India. The Delhi-based agency Company of Design has bagged a Graphite Pencil at the awards.
McCann won the prestigious award for its campaign titled Immunity Charm done for Afghanistan’s Ministry of Public Health in the Health and Wellness category. The agency also grabbed a Wood Pencil for its campaign, The Dancing Letters, for the Maharashtra Dyslexia Association in the Education category.
Law & Kenneth Saatchi & Saatchi won a Graphite pencil for their campaign #GetHer5 done for The Ammada Trust in Education Category.
Company of Design won the Graphite for Safe Houses campaign for Plan India in the Community category. The campaign had also got a Wood Pencil in the Civic Engagement category.
Ogilvy & Mather, Mumbai too grabbed two Wood Pencils for its campaign Savlon Healthy Hands Chalk Sticks for ITC under the categories Humanitarian Aid and Education. Leo Burnett India got a Wood Pencil for its campaign for Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited, titled Roads That Honk in the Urban Living category.
On winning the Black Pencil, Harshit Jain, Marketing Director APAC and Country Head McCann Health India, said, “It feels so good to see that our work on Immunity Charm is getting recognised with the highest awards at these prestigious award shows.
