Riding on DD Freedish, Star Bharat (Life OK – rebranded) has opened strong at No. 5 in U+R markets and at No. 4 in Rural market. The channel was launched on Monday, August 28.

Return of Kaun Banega Crorepati was another highlight of the week that opened at No. 2 in Urban market giving much anticipated push to Sony Entertainment Channel.

Despite losing significant viewership, Zee Anmol’s dream run continued in Week 35 (August 26-September 1) and the channel led the U+R and Rural markets. Colors continued to lead the pack of pay channels in U+R and Urban markets.

Colors retained No. 2 position with 613.679 million (last week 618.223 million) Impressions. Zee TV slipped to No. 3 to garner 598.705 million (last week 617.260 million) Impressions. Star Plus remained at No. 4 with 574.003 million (last week 598.506 million) Impressions. Star Bharat sat at No. 5 in its opening week with 519.743 million (last week 328.571 million as life OK) Impressions. Sony Entertainment Television rose two positions up at No. 6 this week and garnered 474.425 million (last week 383.176 million) Impressions.
