Maintaining its inimitable style, Tanishq has yet again come with a beautiful ad film featuring Deepika Padukone inspiring people to buy the brand’s latest collection of ‘Jewels of Royalty’. In her unique style of promoting the brand by sharing her life experiences, Padukone this time said that it is difficult to let go something that has become a part of life.
The ad film is conceptualised by Lowe Lintas’ Bangalore team.
Commenting on the insight of the film, Rajesh Ramaswamy. Executive Director, Lowe Lintas Bangalore, said, “We use Deepika as the way she is and the way she is in her life. Therefore, over here as well, we have tried to find a connection between her and the jewellery. She has played the role of queens in a lot of films like Bajirao Mastani and Padmavati. She has also worked in period drama films. We have shown her as a daughter and a friend in the past. This film shows her professional side.”
Swamy further said, “In the ad film it is shown that she has been playing the role of a queen for six months. While the shoot has ended, a part of it will continue with her for the rest of her life. That is the connection she has with the jewellery piece she is wearing and something that she would want to keep forever.”
A week’s preparation went into the film, including a day of shoot. Swamy also thanked the production house for the look, feel and execution of the film.
The film starts with Padukone finishing her last shot of the film where she is decked up like a Maharani and is wearing the ‘Jewels of Royalty’ collection jewellery. Then she is shown walking through the sets to her vanity with a background voiceover of hers saying how she has played so many roles in her life and this particular role for six months. Now when the shoot is over, she doesn’t want to let go the jewellery piece that she adorns from the collection. While she is removing the jewellery, she decides to buy the necklace from the Tanishq person sitting there.
In a very jovial and cute execution of the scene, Padukone asks if she could buy the jewellery from him because it has become hard for her to stay away from it. The Tanishq person says, how can anyone say ‘no’ to a maharani and both laugh.
