News18 network is organizing âRising Uttarakhand 2017â in Dehradun on June 5, 2017. The Chief Guest for the event will be the Chief Minister of the State Shri Trivendra Singh Rawat. It aims to provide a platform to top leadership to outline and roadmap the development priorities for the state.
At âRising Uttarakhandâ former Chief Minister of Uttarakhand Harish Rawat will also share his views on the stateâs current condition and the road ahead especially in the context of the present governmentâs stated priorities. Prakash Pant, Minister of Finance, Excise and Parliamentary Affairs; Madan Kaushik, Urban Development Minister and Spokesperson of Uttarakhand Government; Yashpal Arya, Transport and Social Welfare Minister and Arvind Pandey, Education, Sports & Panchayati Raj Minister will also engage in a discussion that will outline their vision on how to take the state forward on various fronts.
Agriculture Minister Subodh Uniyal; Women Empowerment and State Minister for Child Development (Independent Charge) Rekha Arya; State Minister for Higher Education and Cooperative State Minister (Independent Charge) Dhan Singh Rawat along with Ajay Tamta, Union Minister of State for Textiles will also be present and partake in discussions on the ideal development model for the state and key government schemes for the holistic progress of the state. Â During this mega event in Dehradun, BJP's Media Chief Anil Baluni and Managing Director of Patanjali Ayurveda Acharya Balkrishna will also share their views on how to optimise Uttarakhandâs potential for the stateâs betterment.
