Ogilvy & Mather won a total of 34 Elephants at the Kyoorius Creative Awards 2017 including one Black Elephant, 28 Blue Elephant in digital and five Blue Elephant in Advertising. The agency won the Black Elephant for the Savlon Healthy Hands Chalk Sticks campaign.
The second most awarded agency was Mindshare which grabbed six Blue Elephant in Digital category. A lot of agencies got four Blue Elephants each in Digital - BBDO, DDB Mudra, Dentsu Webchutney and Famous Innovations.
Kinetic Worldwide won three Blue Elephant in digital and one Black Elephant for its campaign Mukhota - The life saving mask.
The award function was held at Dome@NSCI in Mumbai on June 2. The fourth edition of Kyoorius Creative Awards gave away a total of five black elephants and 96 blue elephants were awarded across Advertising, Digital and Media categories.
Early Man Films won three Blue Elephant in Digital category, while it won a Black Elephant for its work for The Hindu. FCB Interface grabbed two Blue Elephant while one Black Elephant for World's 1st Streets Named after Street Kids. The agency also got a Blue Elephant in the Advertising category. Response India won a Blue Elephant and a Black Elephant.
The most awarded campaigns were Savlon Healthy Hands Chalk Sticks and Star Plus - Wear Her Name, each winning six awards. World's 1st Streets Named after Street Kids, Star Plus - Nayi Soch, Dads #ShareTheLoad and Dove Change the Rhyme and #SkillsNotScars won four awards each.
Black Elephants are set aside for work that signifies the best of the best, work that takes risks, creates a new conversation with the audience or has a lasting effect on the industry.
Post the jury session concluded successfully by Sonal Dabral, Chairman and Chief Creative Officer at DDB Mudra, Josy Paul, Chairman and Chief Creative Officer at BBDO India, Shashi Sinha, Chief Executive Officer at IPG Mediabrands and Fergus O'Hare, Director APAC Facebook Creative Shop, 307 entries were shortlisted as winners of a baby elephant (in-book winners).
