2017 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity has announced winners for the Print & Publishing, PR, Outdoor, Glass and Promo and Activation category on its second day of awards. Ogilvy & Mather has won two Gold and two Bronze Lions while L&K Saatchi & Saatchi hit a Gold in Glass Lions. McCann Worldgroup and BBDO India bagged a Silver Lion each. This year, India has no winner in the Print & Publishing category.
There are two winners in the Outdoor category from India. Ogilvy & Mather has won a gold Lion for the â€˜Savlon Healthy Hands Chalk Sticksâ€™ campaign for ITCâ€™s Savlon in the outdoor category. The other winner in Outdoor from India was McCann Worldgroup winning a Silvers Lions (campaign) for its â€˜World for All (Animal care and Adoptions)â€™ campaign.
Ogilvy & Mather dominated PR category by winning a Gold and Bronze Lion for â€˜Savlon Healthy Hands Chalk Sticksâ€™ campaign for ITCâ€™s Savlon. BBDO India has won a Silver for the campaign #ReleaseThePressure for PepsiCoâ€™s Mirinda in the same category.
In Promo and Activation category, Ogilvy & Mather has won a Bronze Lion for the campaign â€˜Savlon Healthy Hands Chalk Sticksâ€™ campaign for ITCâ€™s Savlon.
This year India has a sole winner in the Glass category with L&K Saatchi & Saatchi winning a Gold Lion for the campaign #GiveHer5 for the Ammada Trust.
