Swati Bhattacharya, Chief Creative officer, FCB Ulka, has been selected as the Jury Chair for Print, Print Technique and Out of Home category for Clio 2017.
The competition is now open for entries. The winners will be announced on September 11 and the award distribution ceremony will take place on September 27.
The first deadline to enter the awards is April 28, the second is May 26 and the third is June 30.
Commenting on her expectations from Clio 2017, Bhattacharya said, “My expectation is to be enthralled by the work. What I really look forward to in the judging room is the quality of conversation and the kind of instant falling in love with the piece of work. These are two things that make judging a very beautiful experience for me.”
On her expectations from India at Clio 2017, Bhattacharya said, “I don't believe in patriotism in the judging room. For me, wearing a country hat or gender hat or whatever hat comes in the way of letting a work affect you or move you.”
In February 2016, Bhattacharya was appointed as the Chief Creative Officer at FCB Ulka. She has spent 22 years at JWT. In 2011, she was appointed National Creative Director, JWT India. In 2015, Bhattacharya set up Dentsu Mama Lab as Principal Partner.
