DB Corp Limited (DBCL), a print media company and home to flagship newspapers Dainik Bhaskar, Divya Bhaskar, Divya Marathi and Saurashtra Samachar, announced the launch of My FM's new station in Solapur. With this launch, the media company now has eight operational stations.

The radio channel will soon expand its presence to Akola and Dhule. It had launched stations in Hisar and Karnal recently. Out of the 13 frequencies secured during Phase III auctions, nine were from Maharashtra aligned to My FM's long-term aim to consolidate its presence in the state. My FM has 10 stations in Maharashtra.

Commenting on the launch, Harrish Bhatia, CEO, MY FM said, “Solapur is a key market for us to consolidate our presence in Maharashtra and this is where the Real Maharashtra lies. Being a customer-centric organisation the team has invested significant time and efforts to research listener preferences through numerous customer interactions, which is being distilled to create the most refreshing bouquet of programmes. Our Solapur launch also strengthens Dainik Bhaskar's offering to advertisers who can now benefit from a deeper reach across seven states and 27 cities.”

My FM has planned a high decibel pre-launch campaign themed 'Aapki Marzi' that sought public opinion on preferences, suggestions and novel ideas on exciting content and programmes that people like to listen to, including genre of music, humour, RJ talk, programme themes and chat shows. The campaign 'Ab har kaan khush' (now every ear is happy) has been rolled out in the cities through print ads, outdoor, human banners.
