Out of the total 165 shortlists at the Festival of Media APAC Awards, 33 were Indian entries. Mediacom got the maximum shortlists with 12, while Mindshare stood second with seven shortlisted entries and PHD got four shortlists. The other media agencies able to get their campaigns shortlisted include Motivator, Lodestar UM, m/six, Zenith, Jagran Prakashan, Maxus and Madison Communications.

Even globally, Mediacom stood as the best performer as it got 25 shortlists, followed by Mindshare with 23 shortlists and PHD which could push 20 of its campaigns to the list.

The category under which the Indian campaigns scored well are -- Best Branded Content Creation Award, Best Communications Strategy, Best Engagement Strategy, Best Event/Experiential Campaign, Best Launch Campaign, Best Local Execution of a Brand, Best Not-For-Profit Campaign, Best Social Media Strategy, Best Targeted Campaign, Best Use of an Influencer, Best Use of Digital Media, Best Use of Mobile, Best Use of Traditional Media, Best Use of Video, The Best Insight Award, The Effectiveness Award and The Utility/Public Service Award.

The popular campaigns that were shortlisted in multiple categories included #LikeAGirl and Proud, Gillette Bachelors Of Shaving and Ariel Dads Share the Load - Men for laundry! (Mediacom), #UQuitIQuit -- Making India Quit Smoking (m/six), Brooke Bond Red Label Tea 6 Pack band (Mindshare) and Door Step School -- A Street Naming Event For Social Change (Lodstar UM).
