Social Kinnect has won the digital media duties for Cloudwalker, a tech-entertainment company working to revolutionise the way we view television.
It works on the insight that broadcast linear TV content restricts a viewer’s choice by offering limited content, which has pushed discerning viewers away from TV to seek entertainment on their PCs, tabs or phones.
On the other hand, the Internet today offers millions of hours of interesting and entertaining content of every type, genre and preference on free or paid basis, which is not available for the TV viewer.
Solving this issue of closing the gap between what is shown and what is needed, Cloudwalker will aim to give viewers control over the content they consume, in terms of deciding what they want and when they want.
In a segment as inundated as Smart TV, reaching out to the exact audience was expected to be a mammoth task. Social Kinnect’s thorough understanding of the target audience and its nuanced strategy on how to communicate with them was perfectly in sync with the brand’s vision, the company said.
The mandate includes the digital duties of creative strategy and content management across the brand’s digital media platforms. The digital media buying and planning will be taken care of by Media Kinnect, Social Kinnect’s exclusive unit for media planning and buying.
