As the world fights a new battle against terrorism every day, nations and global citizens must stand firm against it. 26/11 of 2008 is one such day etched in the minds of every Indian. We may often get shattered due to such attacks, but we have to show the world that our humanity and solidarity is not broken. And it will never be. To convey this metaphorically, Scarecrow and ideas@work have joined hands to host a one-of-its-kind fundraising photography exhibition – 'Shattered, Not Broken – A stance against terrorism'.

The photographs are captured by ace photographer Prashant Godbole and will be uniquely framed with glass shattered by shrapnel and bullets. The subjects of the photographs will be real people who were directly and indirectly affected by the 26/11 attacks. It could be anyone from the likes of Ratan Tata to the owner of Leopold Café, to the announcer at VT station, to the chef at Taj. Basically, real and interesting stories of people captured in interesting frames.

The Opening Ceremony/Special Preview of the exhibition for Media, Art Buyers, Corporate Dignitaries will be held at Scarecrow Art Gallery on the eve of 26/11 (25/11 evening) . The exhibition will be open to the public from Saturday, 26/11 to Sunday, 27/11 (morning to evening).

Funds will be raised by approaching corporates and affluent citizens to buy the framed photos. The funds collected will be forwarded to the families of the martyrs of the recent Uri attacks through Ketto.org, an online crowd-funding platform.

BestMediaInfo, Afaqs, Kulzy, Chitralekha and mid-day are proud to lend their support to this worthy cause as Media Supporters.
