The Vice-President for Asia Pacific & Middle East North Africa has called it a day after a four-year stint with the microblogging site

Rishi Jaitly, Vice-President, Asia Pacific & Middle East North Africa, Twitter, has called it a day after a four-year stint with the microblogging site. He was leading the Twitter teams across Asia Pacific and the Middle East, driving strategic partnerships with news, government, entertainment, sports, TV industries, and others in the mass/emerging media landscape. Jaitly took to Twitter to announce his move in a series of tweets.
Building/leading @TwitterIndia, and expanding @TwitterMedia across Asia Pacific & Middle East, was the leadership experience of a lifetime.

Jaitly would be moving to Chicago but would spend significant time in India/Asia according to his one of his tweets.

Jaitly had joined Twitter in November 2012 as India Market Director with a mandate to expand the platform in India. He was elevated to the Vice-President role in August last year.
With about 12 years of experience, Jaitly has in the past worked with Google India, Michigan Corps and Knight Foundation.
