November 9, 2016
This November, Comedy Central – Your #HappyPlace! is expanding its comedy offering with the launch of new block of mega-hit flicks and the new line-up of shows.
In addition to the viewers' favourites, F.R.I.E.N.D.S, The Great Indoors, Man With A Plan, Dr. Ken, The Mindy Project, Awkward and The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, Comedy Central will up the ante with the Indian television premiere of an all new show, Angie Tribeca. Some beloved picks like Odd Mom Out and Deadbeat will also be back with new seasons.
In continuation with its exuberant movie line-up, as a part of CC Blockbustered, the channel will air Anger Management, Click, Spanglish and Bewitched this month. The films will air on Sunday afternoons, 12 noon onwards, with a primetime repeat at 9 pm.
Hashim D'Souza, Head of Programming English Entertainment, Viacom 18, said, “While we have always received an overwhelming response to our show line-up, time and again, the feedback for CC Blockbustered has been rather impressive. With this new line-up, we aim not just to surpass our viewers' expectations but also want to enhance their TV viewing experience.”
