India TV wins ITA Award for Best Hindi News Channel

India TV has won the viewers' choice Best Hindi News Channel award at the ITA Awards ceremony held in Mumbai yesterday. As per the company sources, the award is more significant for the channel with the fact that it dislodged 15 consecutive times winner Aaj Tak from the top slot.

Ritu Dhawan, MD and CEO, India TV, said, "India TV is all about the people of this great nation. We have achieved many milestones in the past and we continue to do so. First it was TAM now its BARC, we have broken all rating records. The ITA award is indeed yet another special achievement, specially when the viewers have chosen us directly for the honour."
