GEC Watch: Colors is No. 1 in U+R markets for 3rd consecutive week

Colors also topped the Urban markets. Star Plus is at No. 2 in U+R and Urban markets. Colors’ Naagin Season 2 and Shakti - Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki continued to rule the top shows list in urban markets

In Week 44 (October 29 - November 4), of BARC data, Colors continues to lead Hindi GEC channels in combined (U+R) markets and urban markets. Star Plus is at No. 2 spot. Three of Colors’ shows – Naagin Season 2, Shakti - Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki and Udaan – occupy the top slots among programmes.

In combined (U+R) markets, Colors topped with 638.344 million Impressions. Star Plus followed with 580.743 million Impressions. At No. 3 is Zee TV with 449.187 million Impressions. Sony Pal is at No. 4 with 446.555 million Impressions. Zee Anmol stands at No. 5 with 436.820 million Impressions followed by Sony SAB with 409.823 million Impressions. Sony Entertainment Television retains No. 7 position with 403.252 million Impressions, followed by Rishtey with 393.433 million Impressions. Star Utsav stands at No. 9 with 381.752million Impressions and Life OK trails with 371.442 million Impressions.

Top Programmes in U+R markets

In U+R markets, Colors’ Naagin Season 2 continued to lead with 11.745 million Impressions followed by Zee TV’s Kumkum Bhagya with 10.455 million Impressions. Colors’ Shakti - Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki stands at No. 3 with 10.052 million Impressions followed by Star Plus’ Ye Hai Mohabbatein at No. 4 with 9.005 million Impressions. Sony Entertainment Television’s The Kapil Sharma Show stood at No. 5 with 8.755 million Impressions.

Top Channels in Urban Markets

Colors took the lead in urban markets with 430.705 million Impressions followed by Star Plus with 385.790 million Impressions. Sony SAB stands at No. 3 with 287.684 million Impressions. Sony Entertainment Television is at No. 4 with 273.251 million Impressions followed by Zee TV with 255.444 million Impressions.
