One of the much anticipated shows on English entertainment genre - Koffee With Karan - is coming back with its fifth season on Star World and Star World HD. While the launch date of the show will be announced later, eight other new primetime shows are being launched on the channel.

The talks about the launch of ‘Koffee With Karan’ has already been doing the media rounds since the start of April this year. Karan Johar, the Indian film producer and director, also the host of the show, has also confirmed the arrival of the show on his twitter handle.

We are working hard to ensure that we live up to the hype and are confident that with the guest-list and all the new surprises planned, it’s going to be yet another cracker of a season.”

Star World has also aimed at launching a brand new day and date primetime slot beginning September 21 under the slot ‘Star World Now Trending’ on weekdays at 9 pm and weekends 8pm onwards.

These shows include genre bender shows like ‘Scream Queens season 2’, thrillers and dramas like ‘Quantico season 2’, ‘Empire season 3’, ‘The Blacklist season 4’ and ‘How To Get Away With Murder season 3’. The channel will also premiere season 6 of the comedy show ‘2 Broke Girls’ and season 2 of the musical comedy show ‘Crazy Ex-Girlfriend’.
