Colors Bangla announces a windfall of fresh content this Durga Puja

The channel has five new shows in the pipeline to celebrate the festive season

Colors Bangla has announced an impressive line-up of new shows to celebrate this festive season. Starting October 17, the channel promises complete family entertainment with a line-up of five fresh shows, which include three game shows and two fictional dramas. Extending the spirit of Durga Puja Utsab, the channel announced the line-up in a specially created promo 'Utsaber Natun Rong'–A new colour of celebration.

Elaborating on the new show, Ravish Kumar, Business Head, Bangla, Kannada and Oriya, said, “Just as the festival of Durga Puja brings the family together to celebrate this auspicious occasion, similarly, Colors Bangla is all set to bolster its content offering with shows that appeal to the varying demographics in a family. Catering to a varied gamut of viewers, from homemakers to teenagers, our channel aims to satisfy the diverse appetite of our audience through a more compelling and entertaining new line-up.”

The new non-fiction line-up will include game shows such as the women-centric Rojgere Ginni, a unique food programme, Rannaghar e Rockstar, and Gaaner Gunto. The fiction slate includes Pita, story of a sculpting artist suffering from Alzheimer's disease and disowned by his children in his old age and Ki Kore Toke Bolbo, which tells the story of two teenagers Minu and Nilu, who meet at a correctional home.
