One of the largest radio station networks in Chandigarh, Punjab and Haryana, My FM launches two stations

My FM, the radio division of the Dainik Bhaskar group, recently launched two new radio stations in Hisar and Karnal in Haryana under the phase III licences acquired by the company. My FM won a total of 13 new frequencies in the first phase of Phase III auctions, making it a seven-state, 30-city network.

Speaking on the launch of the new stations, Harrish Bhatia, CEO, My FM, said, “With the two new stations, we have become the largest radio station network in Chandigarh, Punjab and Haryana. Apart from this, we are already the largest network of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. We won frequencies in the markets that we were keen on and are excited and confident about entering these markets.”

He added, “We are a strong customer-centric organisation and invest a lot in understanding the taste and needs of our customers. This approach has helped in building in a strong differentiated product and thus we have come up with the campaign 'Aapki Marzi,' which was initiated to understand listeners preferences in these markets and design highly specialised and focused content which as per the choice of the listeners. We aim to enjoy undisputed leadership across the new stations as we do across our all existing ones.”

My FM designed a high-decibel launch campaign to amplify the buzz created by the pre-launch campaign. The campaign thought 'Ab har kaan khush' (now every ear is happy) was rolled out in both the cities through print ads, outdoor, human banner. The radio broadcaster decided to celebrate the launch with the who's who of the city and clients. The evening witnessed powerful performances by Ali Brothers and Fasal Band.
