The YouTube Ads Leaderboard lists ads and promoted videos that resonated the most with the Indian audience during the first six months of 2016

According to the YouTube Ads Leaderboard released by Google, storytelling is the winning ingredient for Indian viewers. The leader board is a list of ads and promoted videos that has resonated the most with Indian audience during the first six months of the year, in this case 2016.
Showing that customers are willing to invest their time and attention on advertising that is narrative-driven and takes the audience along on a journey, six out of the top 10 ads are far longer than the typical 60-second television commercial. Leading the chart is Bajaj Auto with their Bajaj V â The Invincible film.

Two of the ads on the leaderboard have been recognised at Cannes this year. These are the Bajaj V film which won the creative Agency Leo Burnett a Bronze Lion in the promo & activation category under the cars & automotive product & services category section, and the Ariel ad for which BBDO India was awarded a Bronze Lion in the creative effectiveness category.
Amazon India with its #Apni Dukaan campaign and Make My Trip with its #BefikarBookKar campaign are second and third on the list, respectively.
Others on the list are Royal Challenge Sports Drink and its fan anthem #PlayBold India, Hitachi Home and its #Nothing Dirty ft. Badshah film, Star Sports and its Mauka Mauka campaign, Coca Cola and its Coca Cola Supermarket commercial and Samsung and its Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge commercial.
